PATCH NOTES 0.7.0

Today we bring you a new Sky Mates patch, which includes changes to gameplay as well as UI.


Gameplay
1) After a lot of feedback from our players we have decided to make the Captain more of an active character and therefore swapped some of her abilities around as well as streamlined them to make it easier to understand them quickly. Her old abilites are technically gone, but you'll recognize similarities with the new ones, which are:

Charm (Active Ability): Gathering her charisma, the Captain charms a rival Mate in range 2 in a star pattern, so they change sides until the Captain’s next turn. Cooldown: 3 turns.

Control Ship (Passive Ability): When entering the Machine Core square the Captain uses her electric arm to take control of the ship and thus win the game.

2) We also got rid of one of our patterns. Radius does not exist anymore, which also means our dear friend the Mechanic got a little bit of a well deserved nerf to his active ability, which now works in a star pattern and follows the same rules as the Doc's Heal or the Shooter's attack, meaning you can't reach a square if there's another unit in the way.


UI
1) The complete patterns of abilities, movement and attack are now shown on the board when hovering over an ability or stat. Also we implemented some changes to the way stats are displayed when a character is selected, to make everything a bit easier to read.

2) After the draft is complete the Captains now spawn at the beginning of placement instead of at the end.
